五年前，麥寳家人把前院大樹下的雜草堆 清乾净後。 買了一些園藝磚塊，拼成幾個四方型的走道，休息區。
Miloh family did a landscaping by creating a few block of bricks under a huge Magnolia tree where was nothing but weeds there 5 years ago.
樹下做這樣的設計，最大的挑戰是樹根！ 所以很多地方必須避開 或填土。
The biggest challenge for under tree landscaping is to avoid the roots.
it’s not easy to design a big piece area , so they break down to 8 big squares.
地面不平，樹根突起。 很難做出一大片連接起來的磚塊地面。 於是 他們設計了8個四方形的磚塊區。 中間剛好可以種些花草。
結束後，麥寳娘親綁上了一個蕩鞦韆。

Time Fly.. Miloh grow up ~~ The family and friends enjoy sitting around this area.
五年過後，麥寳長大了。這大樹下是麥寳家人和好友們 最常坐著聊天 賞玫瑰 水池的地方。
Before the pandemic lock down, Miloh family bought bulk of step brick while spring big sale. They plan to work on a patio area under the small Avocado tree and around newly coffee orchard.
春天時，磚塊打折。麥寳家人買了許多回來。準備在酪梨樹下和剛種的咖啡田附近，整理出走道和休息區。
The weeds are such headache here every spring, so it’s time to create a patio !
這地方 每年春天總是雜草叢生，好頭痛。在這設計一個休息區，旁邊才種下的咖啡苗如果長大收成的話，還可在這泡咖啡。
Weeding and level the ground
開始除雜草，再把地面弄平。
It’s an Avocado tree so it’s necessary to leave a block of area for mulch.
酪梨樹根的四周 需要留下它的樹葉鋪上。 所以留了很大一圈 不擺磚塊。
Some area with really big root bump up, so just leave it. will do some planting later on.
樹根有些大，有的突出。 所以 就順著樹根設計，盡量避開大樹根 不鋪甎。
Use cardboard to help test the ground level, then remove later on.
拿紙板舖 可以幫忙找到不平的地方，確定後 就把紙板拿開。
Done with the under tree area.
果樹下的走道和休息區，鋪好了。
Clean up Coffee plant area.. those coffee plants are still so small… add some brick there for steps.
咖啡田的咖啡苗，還很小！ 清除雜草後，就加上幾塊甎 方便走路。
Add some shady plants here
開始搬一些 盆栽過來，然後移植一些花草來種 或插枝。
The super tall palm tree in the yard is kind threat to the power line, so the power company came over to cut the tree.
院子裏的 超高椰子樹，太靠近電綫。 電力公司的人來砍樹。
Miloh family asked them to leave those tree trunk, cut into pieces for landscaping design.
麥寳家人 請工人把樹幹留下裏，鋸成小段。可以用來庭院設計。
move some tree trunk here for sitting stools or small table.
搬一些鋸下來的樹幹 到大樹下，當板凳坐。
家是讓人休息 充電 放鬆 歇脚的地方
